A 19-year-old Goffstown, New Hampshire, man is facing charges that he kidnapped and had unlawful sexual contact with a 13-year-old girl.
New Hampshire State Police were called to a Boscawen home at 4:10 a.m. Friday for a report of a missing 13-year-old girl who had last been seen around 8 p.m. Thursday.
During their investigation, police determined that the girl might be in the custody of Alex Denis, 19, of Goffstown. Further investigation revealed that Denis drove the girl to a location in York, Maine. Police in York were notified, and they located Denis and the missing girl. They were taken into custody without incident.
Denis was arrested by York Police for unlawful sexual contact. He is also facing a kidnapping charge out of New Hampshire. He is being held in the York County Jail in Maine pending extradition back to New Hampshire.
The girl was reunited with her family.
