A teenager suffered life-threatening injuries in a crash on Cape Cod Wednesday evening.
Fire officials confirm a 13-year-old was hit on West Main Street in the Hyannis section of Barnstable, Massachusetts. Crews were called to the scene around 7:15 p.m.
The victim was taken to Cape Cod Hospital with head injuries fire officials said were "potentially life-threatening."
The driver remained on the scene after the crash.
No identities were immediately released.
