A teen is dead after a car crash in Minot, Maine, police confirmed Sunday.
Nineteen-year-old Marcus Bennett of Lewiston was driving a 1993 Saab sedan on Center Minot Hill Road when police say he lost control and slid in front of a Honda Pilot, which then hit his car around 9:45 a.m.
Bennett was taken to Central Maine Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
The driver of the Pilot, 51-year-old Donna Wallace of Minot, and her passenger suffered minor injuries.
The road was closed for about two hours while Maine State Police investigated.
Investigators believe speed and road conditions were factors in the crash.
