A Massachusetts teen was shot and killed after answering the door to his home Tuesday night, police said.
Haverhill police say they responded to 54 Rainbow Drive just after 9:30 p.m., where they found an 18-year-old male victim suffering from a gunshot wound to his chest.
The victim, identified as resident Bryce Finn, was taken to Merrimack Valley Hospital in Haverhill, where he was pronounced dead.
Witnesses told police a suspect knocked on the door of the victim's home and when Finn answered, he was shot and the suspect fled.
Investigators do not believe this was a random act and they're still searching for the suspect.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
At the scene Wednesday morning, neighbors were still in disbelief.

"People were running, screaming," one neighbor said about the chaos that ensued.
Finn had recently graduated Haverhill High School, according to the school.
"Bryce, like many young people today, faced challenges growing up. Our experiences here at Haverhill High School essentially showed he was a young man who kept a low profile," high school principal Beth Kitos said in a statement to the families of recent grads. "These tragic events in a young person's life have an adverse effect on many young people but also deeply affect all in the school system that work so hard to help young men and women as they navigate through the process of growing up."
