Teen Struck by Own Truck at Route 28, Route 149 Intersection in Massachusetts

Fire officials in Marstons Mills say the 17-year-old female was medflighted to a Boston-area hospital

A teen was struck by her own truck at the intersection of Route 149 and Route 28 in Marstons Mills, Massachusetts, Thursday afternoon was medflighted to a Boston hospital, authorities confirmed.

The 17-year-old female driver had serious injuries as a result of the accident, which happened just after 4: 40 p.m., fire officials said, and was taken in an ambulance to Marstons Mills Airport, where she was taken to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston via a Medflight.

Fire officials said Barnstable Police also responded to the scene.
