A high school student in Methuen, Massachusetts, will be summonsed after he put on a clown mask before classes Wednesday morning.
According to the Eagle Tribune, the Methuen High School student put on the mask to show his friends around 7:15 a.m.
The student was pulled aside by an administrator and class was not disrupted. He is being summonsed for disrupting a school assembly.
The incident comes amid a string of clown-relates sightings and social media posts across New England.
