A teenage swimmer who was reported missing Monday in Medford has died, according to Massachusetts State Police.
An 18-year-old was swimming at Upper Mystic Lake. Witnesses said three people jumped into the water, but only two came up.
Around 9:45 p.m., police confirmed the victim had died.
State police originally said the victim was a 17-year-old boy, but the Middlesex District Attorney's Office later said he was 18.
No further information was immediately available.
