A New Hampshire teenager facing child pornography charges has turned himself in.
Police had issued an active arrest warrant for Louis Pilat of Hudson.
The 18-year-old is charged with four counts of distribution of child pornography, one count of manufacturing of child pornography, one count of possession of child pornography and one count of certain uses of computer services prohibited.
Pilat's arrest is the culmination of a month-long police investigation. Authorities began their investigation after receiving several tips involving the uploading of contraband images to public Internet servers.
The investigation is ongoing, but at this time, it appears that no children from the local area are involved.
Pilat has been released on $50,000 personal recognizance bail. He will be arraigned at the Nashua 9th Circuit Court on Aug. 6.
