Thief Steals Holiday Packages From Quincy Home

On Thursday afternoon, Sean Callaghan's security camera caught footage of a woman drive up to his home in Quincy, and then she took two packages from the front door. Both of which were Christmas presents.

"She's the Grinch that stole Christmas," he said. "If you look closely you can see she’s moving packages...she must be doing this all day going house to house taking packages."

The footage then shows the woman getting spooked once she hears the sirens from a passing ambulance. She then leaves without taking the third box. But Callahan is still upset that the woman took any of the packages.

"It's pretty infuriorating you know... She’s stealing someone’s Christmas gifts," he said.

The Callaghan family did most of their holiday shopping online. With his wife, Liz, working at a hospital, and Sean working as an electrician- they have no other choice but to have then orders sent to the house.

"She not only stole, she stole children toys for Christmas ," Sean Callaghan said.

Even though it is a frustrating and disappointing reality, with days till Santa arrives, Liz Callaghan says she is going to focus on her boys to think more than just what's under the tree.

"We have to focus on good things," she said. "We’re not going to let her ruin our Christmas. There’s other meaningful things about Christmas-not just presents."

Sean Callaghan says a manager at an Autozone saw the video and realized that the thief is one of his employees. Sean says the man called police.

According to Quincy police, suspect has been summonsed to court.

The Callaghan family says that the stolen items are still missing.
