Authorities have located a man who was missing from Spencer, Massachusetts.
Just before 9 p.m. Monday night, Spencer police said they had safely located 85-year-old Thomas Byrnes, who suffers from memory impairment.
A silver alert was issued Monday evening for the Spencer man, who had left his apartment around 9 a.m Monday in an unknown direction, driving a 2005 tan Acura MDX, with Massachusetts registration 852EA6.
Officials say he made references earlier in the day about possibly going to Charter Cable in Worcester.
Byrnes is described as 5'7" and approximately 180 pounds with grey hair.
He currently takes insulin medication several times a day, and it is believed that he did not bring any insulin with him.
There was a similar incident in May involving Byrnes, and he was located in Holden.
