3-Alarm Fire Burns Boston Auto Shop

Firefighters used forcible entry tools to gain access

A 3-alarm fire burned an auto shop Sunday in Boston's Hyde Park neighborhood.

The fire broke out early in the morning at the Meineke on Hyde Park Avenue. Crews responded just after 5:30 a.m.

No one was injured, and the business was closed, but firefighters had to force their way in to battle the flames.

Fire officials confirmed around 6 a.m. the heavy fire had been knocked down.
