Two women had a startling beginning to their vacation in Kennebunk, Maine, after discovering something else nestled in their trunk other than a suitcase -- a ball python!
The two women rented a car Wednesday night at Boston's Logan Airport to drive to Kennebunk for vacation before finding this unexpected surprise.
Authorities came to the aid of the two women to retrieve the snake from the trunk of the car. The python was kept warm in a pillowcase overnight, according to police.
The snake now has a new home at the Center for Wildlife in York.
