A tractor-trailer collided with a police cruiser as it drove the wrong way on I-95 in Biddeford, Maine, Monday night.
State police say the truck was driving north in the southbound lane for about eight miles around 9:30 p.m. Police say the truck had its lights off.
When police tried to stop the truck, it collided with the rear of an officer's cruiser.
No one was hurt, but the truck driver and the trooper were taken to the hospital as a precaution.
The driver has since been identified as Michael Crews, 49, of Hurt, Virginia. The truck is registered to Blue Diamond Transportation from Presque Isle and was empty.
Police believe Crews got on the wrong lane from the Kennebunk service plaza.
