Trader Joe's Debuts 20th Massachusetts Store

Massachusetts shoppers now have another Trader Joe's to frequent.

According to Boston Magazine, the grocery store chain debuted its 20th location Thursday in Boston's Allston neighborhood on the corner of Western Avenue and North Harvard Street.

The magazine reported that the 13,000-square foot store anchors the Continuum apartment building which is the first luxury towers in Allston.

The Allston location is the chain's second store in Boston which carries beer, wine and spirits. Due to Massachusetts law, companies cannot hold more than seven liquor licences, so the chain had to give up the liquor license at its Cambridge Memorial Drive location.

The store, which opened for business at 9 a.m., will be open daily until 10 p.m. Liquor sales start at noon on Sunday's, due to state law.
