K-9s Help Track Down Armed Home Invasion Suspects: Police

Officials say Jessica Evans, 23, and Matthew Gedney, 36, allegedly robbed an Alexandria, New Hampshire, home while armed and wearing ski masks

Two people are being charged with robbery after an alleged armed home invasion in Alexandria Thursday morning, according to New Hampshire State Police.

Officials say Jessica Evans, 23, and Matthew Gedney, 36, allegedly robbed a home on Lynn Ave while armed and wearing ski masks around 6:15 a.m. The suspects fled the scene and police deployed a K-9 to search for the suspects, according to authorities.

Officials say they were led to an unoccupied building nearby. The K-9 was deployed into the building, police say, and found Evans, biting her and forcing her out of the building and into police custody.

The State Police SWAT team and K-9 searched the building for Gedney for several hours and took him into custody after locating him in the rafters of the building.

Evans and Gedney will be arraigned in Grafton Superior Court. It is unclear whether either has an attorney.
