Two children and their mother were injured early Tuesday after they were involved in a car crash in Sandwich, Massachusetts.
The single-vehicle crash was reported at 12:52 a.m. in the area of Farmersville Road and Cotuit Road. The driver, a 40-year-old woman from Cotuit, Massachusetts, ran off the road for an unknown reason and struck a tree.
One child was taken by MedFlight to Masssachusetts General Hospital in critical condition while the other child was taken to Hasbro Children’s Hospital in serious condition. The mother was taken to South Shore Hospital in serious condition.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
