    State Police Investigating After 2 Dogs Shocked in Winthrop

    Two dogs were shocked in Winthrop, Massachusetts, on Saturday morning.

    According to police, the German Shepherd and Boxer came in contact with a metal panel used to cover electrical wires and components and were shocked.

    The incident occurred on Department of Recreation and Conservation property, just across from 33 Shore Drive, at about 10 a.m. Saturday.

    The owners called police, and Winthrop Animal Control arrived on scene and checked the dogs.
