Two People Die in ‘Fully Engulfed' House Fire

Fire officials investigating cause of blaze

 

Two people died late Friday night in a house fire in Morgan, Vermont.

Charleston firefighters responded to a call for a house fire at about 11 p.m. and, on arrival, found the home fully engulfed, according to the Vermont Department of Public Safety.

Firefighters extinguished the blaze and found two bodies, both badly burned. The victims' identities are being determined and will be withheld pending notification of next of kin.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
