Police in Lincoln County are investigating a fatal traffic crash on Route 1 near the border of Wiscasset and Woolwich, Maine.
WCSH-TV reports deputies on the scene say two people have also been taken to local hospitals on Friday.
The extent of their injuries was not available from authorities.
Officials with the Lincoln County Sheriff's Department say a crash reconstruction team will work on the scene.
Police have not identified any of the people involved in the crash.
