An ultralight plane crashed into the Assabet River in Massachusetts Tuesday, injuring the pilot, Stow Police confirm.
Police say the pilot took off from the homemade aircraft from Crow Island and crashed into the river.
A bystander took his canoe out to reach the pilot.
The pilot was taken to Lahey Hospital with minor injuries.
Crews are working to remove the plane.
