VT Police Investigate 30-Plus Acts of Vandalism

Vermont police are investigating a vandalism spree involving cars and other objects being damaged by someone firing a pellet or BB gun in Burlington.

Since April 1, police say there have been 30 incidents reported to Burlington police - most of them involving car windows being shot out.

Authorities say the incidents have occurred throughout the city, and no one area appears to be targeted.

Burlington police say they believe similar incidents in nearby Colchester and Winooski are connected.

The Burlington Police Department is offering a cash reward up to $500 for any information that leads to the arrest of the person or people responsible for the incidents.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Burlington Police Department at (802) 658-2700.
