Vermont Man Charged With Burglary, Trespassing Sticks Tongue Out in Mugshot

A Vermont man is being held on $15,000 bail in connection with a burglary and trespassing. 

State Police were called to Henney Rd. in Moretown on March 14 to investigate a suspicious vehicle near an electric substation. 

Upon arrival, troopers saw a man in the woods. He was told to stop, but he ran. A police dog was able to locate the suspect approximately a half-mile away. 

Meanwhile, at approximately 11 p.m., Zoe Bailey, 21, and Hillary Gray, 28, called in a burglary to their residence. 

Nicholas Palermo, 36, of Waterbury was taken into custody and charged with unlawful trespass for being on the property of the electrical substation, and burglary into the Bailey/Gray residence. 

He will appear in court on March 15.
