    Authorities are looking for a suspect in a shooting in Lowell.

    According to police, they responded to the area of Broadway and Cork streets for reports of shots fired just after 2 p.m. on Sunday.

    Upon arrival, officers found a female who was shot twice in the back on Cork Street.

    The victim was transported to a Boston hospital, police said. Her exact condition is not known at this time.

    The suspect is described as a 19 or 20-year-old man wearing a black hoodie. The suspect allegedly fled on foot in the area of Adams Street.
