Victim Dies After Rescue From Fire

A person has died after being pulled from a fire in Dedham, Massachusetts.

The call came in around 5:30 a.m. Saturday for the house fire at 22 Harding Terrace. On scene, two residents were outside the building and stated that a third resident was still inside.

Crews entered the building and found the third resident, a woman in her 50s, in a bedroom on the second floor. She was taken to Norwood Hospital where she was pronounced dead.

The two other residents sustained minor injuries and were treated at area hospitals.

In addition, three firefighters were treated for minor injuries including a knee injury and heat exhaustion.

The fire is being investigated by the State Fire Marshal's Office.
