Vigil Held in Boston for War on Terror Victims on 9/11

In honor of the 15th anniversary of 9/11, Massachusetts Fallen Heroes participated in a mass for remembrance in Boston's Seaport District on Sunday.

Following a service at Chapel of Our Lady of Good Voyage, Gold Star Families, Veterans and the public were invited to a candlelit procession and vigil at the nearby Massachusetts Fallen Heroes Memorial.

Steve Milley, who attended the annual event, lost his son in the War on Terror.

"My son was killed on November 30, 2010," Milley said.

First Lieutenant Scott Miley died in Afghanistan at the age of 23.

Joe Kelley's son was killed in action in June of 2005.

Both he and Milley say they both attend the event to pray and reflect.

"It makes me feel good in my heart that people still remember," Kelley said.

The names of all the service men and women who lost their lives during the War on Terror were read at the candlelit vigil.
