A man caught on video assaulting and threatening to shoot passengers on the Red Line last month has been arrested, according to MBTA Transit Police.
Vincente Lomba, 25, of Boston was arrested Friday night at Andrew Square Station.
Around 8 a.m. on Aug. 2, 2016, officials received reports of an assault at Broadway Station. The female victim told police a man entered the train at Andrew Square and began to threaten passengers. The woman began recording the incident with her phone before the man assaulted her, knocking her phone to the ground.
Vincente has been charged with: Intimidation of a Witness, Assault and Battery and Threats to Commit a Crime.
