Vt. Police Find 190 Bags of Heroin in Vehicle

Vermont State Police say they have arrested four people from Connecticut for attempting to bring almost 200 bags of heroin into the state. 

WPTZ-TV reports that state police say a trooper noticed a car swerving within its lane and exceeding the speed limit just before 7 p.m. Sunday in Brattleboro and pulled it over. 

Police say the occupants of the car gave troopers consent to search the vehicle. They say 190 bags of heroin were found inside. 

The Hartford, Connecticut residents were arrested and held overnight Monday on $5,000 bail. They are expected to appear in court on Tuesday and face charges of possession, trafficking and importation of heroin
