Authorities say one of the women accusing Vermont state Sen. Norm McAllister of sexual assault has died, according to necn affiliate WPTZ.
State police did not identify the woman, but said it appears the death of the Franklin County woman, who passed last weekend, was from natural causes.
WPTZ says an autopsy will be performed.
Sixty-three-year-old McAllister (R-Franklin District) was arrested early last month after three women accused him of sexual assault. He has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
