Wanted Kidnapper Nabbed at MBTA Station

Suspect attempted to cover up her true identity

Transit Police at an MBTA station in Quincy Center apprehended a wanted kidnapper on Sunday morning.

Tina Lunn, 37, of Braintree, Massachusetts, was caught smoking a cigarette at the entrance to the station in front of a no smoking sign. When approached by an officer, Lunn provided a false identity when asked to produce some identification.

The name Lunn provided belonged to a real person who had a warrant out for their arrest. When informed of the warrant, Lunn still didn't come clean regarding her true identity.

Officers eventually uncovered who Lunn really was and they learned of several arrest warrants that had been issued against her

The warrants issued for her arrest included, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, kidnapping and larceny. She'll also face charges for using a false name and will be given a smoking citation.
