    3 Injured, 1 Airlifted, in Wareham Crash

    Three people were hurt, one suffering life-threatening injuries, after a crash in Wareham, Massachusetts.

    Fire officials say crews responded shortly after 7:15 p.m. to Elm Street off Cranberry Highway. They say it was a rollover involving two cars.

    In one vehicle, a female driver was the only occupant. She was not injured. In the other, three males were all injured. One victim was airlifted to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. Two other victims were transported to hospitals by ground with non-life-threatening injuries.

    The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

    Some Leavenworth County, Kansas, officials are calling for Commissioner Louis Klemp's resignation after he insulted a black woman who had just presented a land-use study to the commission. "I don't want you to think I am picking on you because we are part of the master race. You have a gap in your teeth. We are part of the master race, don't you forget that," Klemp said.
