Warm Weekend Leads into Heat Wave

A beautiful weekend is underway across New England!

High temperatures on Saturday will pop into the 80s for most, with low humidity.

Overnight lows will drop into the 50s and 60s with a great view of the full moon.

Sunday is also in the 80s for most, with a few 70s at south facing beaches. Humidity will be more noticeable, and there’s a slight risk of a pop up shower or storm in far Northern and Western New England.

The real heat arrives Monday through Wednesday. Each of those days will bring highs in the 90s for many spots with oppressive humidity, meaning it will feel warmer than the actual temperature.

We’ll be mainly dry during that time again, with just a few pop up showers or storms in Northern New England.

By late week, following the passage of a front, temperatures will be closer to average for this time of year. That means highs in the 70s to around 80.

It looks like that more seasonable air will take us into Labor Day weekend.
