Racist graffiti was found at the Watuppa Pond Reservation in Fall River.

The Wampanoag Tribe says it found racist graffiti at the Watuppa Pond Reservation this week in Fall River, Massachusetts, according to a report.

The letters "KKK," swastikas and other markings were spray-painted to trees, the ground and several buildings on the premise, according to the Herald News.

"I'm very disappointed with what I've seen and what's going on," Chief Daryl Black Eagle Jamieson, vice chairman of the Pocasset Wampanoag Tribe of the Pokanoket Nation, told the paper. "That's our ancestral ground over there. We don't want to see anything defaced."

Neither officials with the Assonet Band of the Wampanoag Tribe nor spokesmen for Fall River police had commented on the incident.

Earlier this year, racist graffiti was also found at the Hebrew Cemetery in Fall River. Over 60 gravestones were defaced with anti-Semitic language and swastikas.

The FBI and Fall River police investigated that March incident, but no one has been arrested.

No arrests have been made in connection with the graffiti at Watuppa Pond Reservation.
