Weather Takes Cool, Rainy Turn

We’re locked in the clouds and occasional showers all day Sunday thanks to an east wind, but there is some improvement on the way for Memorial Day.

Highs on Sunday will remain in the 50s to near 60 because of the dull conditions. If you want sun in New England, you’ll have to head to Northern Maine.

The rain that does fall will be light, but we’ll hold on to spotty showers right into tonight as clouds and fog also hold tough. Temperatures will slip into the 40s and 50s.

The holiday begins dull and cloudy, but over the course of the day more sunshine breaks out. The vast majority of the day will be dry, aside from a brief isolated shower here or there.

Winds will still be off the water, but with the help of some sun we’ll make the 60s at the coast and 70s inland.

Beautiful weather settles in Tuesday, with sun and highs in the 70s to near 80.

We stay nice and sunny into Wednesday, but a seabreeze will keep the coast cooler. 70s there while we make it closer to 80 inland.

Clouds increase gradually Thursday, but it’s still warm. Some showers or storms are possible Friday as tropical moisture from Alberto works northward.
