Who Won the First Presidential Debate? Necn Viewers Weigh In

Viewers discussed who they thought came out on top

Who do you think won last night's presidential debate?

Following the first Presidential Debate between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton on Monday night, necn viewers weighed in on who they thought came out on top.

Many viewers believed Clinton came across as extremely presidential and prepared for the debate.

One viewer said, "She did not allow the shouting or pointing of her opponent to distract her from doing her job explaining to the American people why she is the most qualified candidate and has the best plans to improve the lives of the American people."

Suzanne Dupont added, "She once again showed why she is the only candidate equipped to be POTUS."

According to Fran Wendelboe, Clinton was "well rehearsed" on her message.

Critics of Trump's performance said he "became unhinged" and cited his interruptions of both Clinton and moderator Lester Holt.

Darryn Witzgall said, "I think Clinton took this one because of Trump interrupting."

John Grady said, "Tonight confirmed what most of us have known all along. Donald Trump has neither the intellectual nor psychological capacity to be our president."

Critics of Clinton, including Di Lothrop said she was making "empty promises and empty statements."

Others said Clinton was "snobbish and fake."
