15-Year-Old Killed, 4 Others Injured in Maine Crash

A 15-year-old girl was killed and four other people were injured when a car hit a tree in Maine Tuesday night.

WCSH reports that Tyonna Adams of Westbrook was killed in the crash, which happened on River Road in Windham.

Four other people, including the 18-year-old driver, Melinda Easter of Raymond, were taken to Maine Medical Center.

The three others injured in the crash have been identified as 18-year-old Kerrianna Girardin of Windham, 22-year-old Sasha Williams of Westbrook and 20-year-old Brittany Freeman of Westbrook. Williams and Freeman are in fair condition, but Easter and Girardin's conditions are unclear.

Police told WCSH that speed appears to be a factor in the crash, but investigators are also looking at wind and road conditions.
