Woman Accused of Running Over 2 Women With Car Due in Court

A Massachusetts driver accused of running over two women in Sutton after an argument is expected in court Thursday.

According to police, four women were talking in the street when the conversation became contentious and they began arguing.

Stacey Piercey, 44, is accused of getting into her car, running two of the women over and grabbing several bags, fleeing the scene on foot.

One victim was transported to the hospital by ambulance and the second was flown to a hospital by medical helicopter.

Piercey is charged with two counts of assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon and operating to endanger.

Piercey is set to be arraigned Thursday in Uxbridge District Court. It was not immediately known if she has an attorney.
