Woman Airlifted After 3-Vehicle Crash on I-95 in Foxboro

A woman was airlifted after being badly injured in a three-vehicle crash on Interstate 95 in Foxboro, Massachusetts.

State police say the crash was reported just before 6 p.m. A 53-year-old Swansea woman was trapped in a Toyota Rav4 after a crash involving two other vehicles.

Foxboro Fire said the Jaws of Life were used to free the injured person from her vehicle.

The other drivers were not injured, but the Swansea woman was flown to Tufts Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
