Woman Arrested After Meth Lab Discovered

Officials have arrested a Waterboro, Maine, woman after attempting to serve eviction paperwork and discovering items used to manufacture methamphetamine.

Officials have arrested a Waterboro, Maine, woman after attempting to serve eviction paperwork and discovering items used to manufacture methamphetamine.

The Maine Drug Enforcement Agency arrested Caitlin Bigelow, 26, and charged her with trafficking meth after obtaining a search warrant for the mobile home at 481 Stone Road in Newfield.

Officials attempted toserve the paperwork on June 2 and  found several items used for manufacturing meth, including gas generators, blister packs and cold packs. Bigelow was not home at the time.

A safety perimeter was establish and the materials were disposed of.

Officials obtained an arrest warrant after investigation and arrested Bigelow on Sept. 23.

Her bail was set at $5,000.
