A woman who allegedly threw a bag of charcoal at an officer and hit a gas station employee with a bottle of red wine was arrested Wednesday night in New Hampshire.
Manchester police responded to the Kenoco Gas Station at approximately 8 p.m. after they received a report of a woman throwing items around the store. Upon arrival, an officer encountered 25-year-old Beth Whittaker pacing around, according to officials.
"She grabbed a couple of things," recalled store clerk Arron Disorda. She was acting a little weird."
When the officer identified himself, Whittaker allegedly walked towards him in an aggressive manner and threw a bag of charcoal at him. The officer then used his stun gun on the suspect, but it had no effect on her.
Police say Whittaker held a large glass battle of San Pellegrino water, "held it over her head like a club" and screamed at the officer to get away.
"She started throwing things, trashing the store," said Disorda. "I was scared. Nervous."
The officer was able to bring Whittaker to the ground and arrest her.

Once Whittaker was under control, police helped Disorda, who was holding an ice pack to his nose. During the ordeal, he got smacked in the face with a wine bottle.
He told police that he chased after Whittaker when she allegedly grabbed several items and tried to dash out the door. Grabbing her by the backpack, the employee was able to drag Whittaker back inside.
As he called police, Whittaker allegedly tried to run again and began to scream and throw things when the employee stopped her.
The clerk suffered a bloody nose but refused medical treatment, according to police.
"My nose is sore. After I get off of work I'm going to go get it checked out," said Disorda.
Whittaker was charged with first degree assault, criminal mischief, criminal threatening, theft, resisting arrest and violation of bail conditions.
