Woman Arrested for Assaulting an MBTA Train Conductor

The woman physically attacked the conductor and threatened to stab him

A woman was arrested for threatening an MBTA train conductor.

According to the MBTA, Emma Bloom, age 23, of Sharon, Massachusetts, was arrested for Assault and Battery, Assault with a Dangerous Weapon, and Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon.

Transit Police officers received a call for a disorderly person.

The conductor told the officers he attempted to collect a fare from Bloom but she refused to pay.

He informed her she would have to either pay the fare or exit the train.

She began to kick, punch, and bite the conductor and allegedly pulled out a folding knife at one point and threatened to stab the conductor.

She was transported to Transit Police headquarters.
