A Massachusetts woman convicted of stealing from a charity she founded has been ordered to pay $400 a month in restitution to families she promised to help.

Gina Clark, of Barnstable, Mass., was convicted in 2013 of larceny, embezzlement and fraud for her work with Touched by Angels Inc. She was sentenced to four to five years in prison and ordered to pay nearly $150,000 in restitution. She has since been released.

The Cape Cod Times reports that a judge imposed the monthly payments Wednesday.

The charity was supposed to help families that had lost loved ones or were dealing with serious medical situations. She organized fundraising events that netted tens of thousands of dollars, yet distributed only a small portion of it.

Her lawyer says she has already paid more than $5,000.
