    Brockton Woman Killed After Being Hit by Car

    Brockton woman dies after being hit by car. (Published Sunday, April 22, 2018)

    A woman has died after being struck by a car in Brockton on Saturday night, Plymouth County DA Timothy J. Cruz announced.

    The accident occurred at around 9 p.m. on Saturday night, when Brockton police received a 911 call for a report that a pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle – that was also involved in a crash with another vehicle – at the intersection of Main Street and Legion Parkway.

    The woman, whose identity has not yet been released, was 32 years old. Brockton Fire and emergency medical personnel responded to the scene to perform measures aimed at saving the woman’s life. She was later transported to Brockton Hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.

    An investigation by State Police Detectives is underway.

    The operators of each vehicle remained on the scene after the accident and were transported to Good Samaritan Hospital in Brockton, where they were treated for minor injuries.

    No charges have been announced at this time.
