Woman Dies in Crash on I-93 in Ashland, New Hampshire

State police are investigating a crash that killed a driver on Interstate 93 in Ashland, New Hampshire.

Police said the car driven by 58-year-old Debra-Rae Purcell of Bristol crashed at about 5:30 a.m. Wednesday into a guardrail on the northbound side, about a half-mile south of Exit 24. Purcell, the only person in the car, was found unconscious. She was later pronounced dead at a hospital.

Police said speed and alcohol do not appear to be contributing factors into the crash.
