A woman in Yarmouth, Massachusetts was killed on Tuesday after becoming entrapped between her car and garage door.
Police initially received a call at 5:19 p.m. after the woman, identified as 52-year-old Deborah Reade-Kochka, had driven her 2017 Honda SUV through the garage door per an initial investigation. She then became pinned between the car door and garage, presumably while attempting to exit her vehicle.
The woman was discovered by her husband, Donald. She was transported to Cape Cod Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Officials are conducting a followup investigation.
