Fire officials say a woman was hospitalized after her vehicle skidded off the road and overturned in about two feet of water in northwestern Vermont.

The Burlington Free Press reports the crash happened Sunday around 3:30 p.m. in Williston, when the unidentified woman's vehicle left the roadway and landed in a tributary of Lake Iroquois on its passenger side.
