A woman was seriously injured when she was hit by a vehicle Thursday night in Framingham, Massachusetts.
Police say the woman, who has not been identified but is thought to be about 50, was walking on Waverly Street near the Ashland town line when she was hit just after 8:30 p.m.
The driver remained on the scene and is cooperating with authorities.
The woman was taken to MetroWest Medical Center with significant injuries. The nature of those injuries was not immediately known.
No other information was immediately available.
