When officers arrived to the scene, the 49-year-old female victim was located with non-life-threatening injuries. The woman, who has not been identified, was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
Police told WCSH-TV that the victim and the alleged shooter had been in a verbal argument before the incident happened.
Police said no arrests have been made but they are looking for a younger man who was driving a small, silver sport utility vehicle which may have a Massachusetts licence plate beginning with the numbers 771. The man may have had a passenger with him.
