Woman Offers Reward After Pet Cattle Killed

A Maine woman whose pet cattle were shot to death is offering a reward for information leading to an arrest, necn affiliate WCSH reports.

Daria Googins of Richmond says she saved the animals from slaughter a decade ago. But Friday afternoon, she found Isadora and Theodore dead in the back of her pasture, with the gate's lock broken.

Police are investigating the animals' deaths, but Googins says she thinks she knows who killed them and believes she was targeted.

"You attempted to put me in fear, but you need to be afraid, because you're going down, and if anyone assisted you with this crime, they're going down too," she said of the charges they could face. "The wolf is snapping at your heels. Oh, and the bigger you are, the harder you fall."
