A pedestrian suffered injuries Friday after she was struck by a vehicle in Haverhill, Massachusetts.
The victim, a 29-year-old Haverhill resident, was struck near 76 Merrimack St., officials said. She was likely walking north across the street when a pickup truck driving eastbound hit her, according to the Haverhill Police Department.
She was taken to Lawrence General Hospital for treatment. Initial reports stated that the victim suffered serious injuries but she is now in stable condition.
The crash continues to be under investigation. No criminal charges have been issued.
