Woman Suffers Serious Injuries in DWI Crash

Sarah Harzmovitch of Manchester, New Hampshire, will be arraigned on Aug. 5

Authorities in New Hampshire responded Friday to a reported motor vehicle collision on I-93 northbound in Hooksett.

The driver of a 2005 Chevy Trailblazer had lost control of her truck before hitting two other vehicles and a cement jersey barrier.

The preliminary investigation indicates that Sarah Harzmovitch, 28, of Manchester could not maintain control of her vehicle due to the fact that she was speeding and conducting multiple unsafe lane changes.

Officials say Harzmovitch, who was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, sustained serious bodily injury. The Trailblazer was destroyed and towed from the scene.

Multiple northbound lanes were closed and traffic was directed through the high speed lanes for approximately one hour while the scene was being cleared.

Harzmovitch was arrested for aggravated driving while intoxicated. She was released on $5,000 personal recognizance bail, and is scheduled to be arraigned on Aug. 15.
